Speak Life is a nonprofit organization that strives to prevent human trafficking and child abuse by educating the community about the conditions that foster sex trafficking, working side by side with the victim, and restoring the lives of those affected by sex trafficking or abuse. We are committed to restoring the lives of each victim, giving them hope, purpose and a future.

I was born and raised in Orange County, California in a very abusive home and as a young girl was kidnapped, trafficked and forced to use drugs as a means of control. Months after my abduction, I escaped by jumping out of a vehicle while on the freeway, a full blown addict. Not able to escape the torture I endured, ended up on the streets of Los Angeles, in gang infested areas and worked the streets of Figeuroa to support my addiction. In and out of jails and foster ho

More than 300 men and women gathered at the Fashion Island Hotel recently for the sixth annual Priceless Luncheon, hosted bygd Vanguard University’s Global Center for Women and Justice.
The inspiring event raised more than $203,000 for Global Center for Women and Justice and its advocacy and educational programs. It also honored victims and raised awareness of the insidious issue that exists in our community, and around the world.
Community leaders, supporters and anti-trafficking advocates were appreciated, educated and motivated to make a difference in the battle to end the tragedy of human trafficking.
The Global Center for Women & Justice is a faith-based organization that exists to advance the global status of women through research, education, advocacy, collaboration and hope. For fifteen years the Global Center for Women and Justice has provided training and resources to leaders committed to end human trafficking and cyber-exploitation of women and children.

On Aug. 29, Texas TransEastern and Angels Baseball presented the 17th annual Albert Pujols Celebrity Golf Classic and Dinner at Mission Viejo Country Club. The outdoor event raised more than $550,000 for the Pujols Foundation, a nonprofit charity started by the baseball MVP and his wife Deidre. The organization brought attention to its two missions: provide free programs and events for individuals with Down syndrome and provide medical and humanitarian aid to poverty stricken communities in the Dominican Republic.
The Pujols Foundation supports causes close to the family, who has a special relationship with individuals in the community since the couple’s daughter, Bella, has Down syndrome.
The event culminated with the foundation’s launch of a new program, ConGracia. The sponsorship opportunity allows individuals to give aid to children and families in the Dominican Republic. ConGracia plans to give the people of the Batey Alemán control of their own destiny by providing more o
