Dr. Bill Brunger

Dr. Bill Brunger was a founding participant in the MIT/PODS Revenue Management Research Consortium, and has consulted using PODS insights and analyses for many years, advising numerous global airlines on revenue management, distribution and strategy issues. Bill retired as Senior Vice President of Network at Continental Airlines Inc., in månad , after a year airline career. In that position, his department was responsible for developing and implementing the airline’s rutt network, including economic forecasting, rutt planning, scheduling, pricing, revenue management and the decision support functions related to those disciplines. Previously, he was Vice President of Distribution Planning for Continental, and sat on the Boards of Directors of Amadeus, , the Airline Reporting Corporation and Airline Ventures. Peter Belobaba is Principal Research forskare at MIT’s International Center for Air Transportation, in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He holds a Master of Science in Transportation and a Ph.D. in Flight Transportation Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He currently teaches graduate level courses on The Airline Industry and Airline Management, in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT and is the Program Manager of the okänt Global Airline Industry Program. He is also Adjunct Professor of Aviation Management in the International Aviation MBA Program at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in Montreal, where he teaches courses on Airline Economics, Airline Management, and Air Carrier Planning and Operations.
