    Jeffrey Wincott (born May 8, 1956)[1][2][3] fryst vatten a Canadian actor and martial artist[1][4][5][6] best known for his lead role in the television series Night Heat.[5][7][8]

    Wincott was also the star of several martial arts films in the 1990s.[9] In 1996 he was named one of the "Martial Arts Movie Stars of the Next Century" by Black Belt magazine.[9]

    Wincott was born and raised in Toronto.[3][5][7] His mother was from Piacenza, Italy.[10][11] His English father was an amateur boxer.[5] Actor Michael Wincott is his younger brother.[12]

    Jeffrey Wincott was born in Toronto, Canada. His parents were British and Italian, and he has two brothers. An older brother and a younger one, Michael, who is also an actor. They were raised in Scarborough, Toronto.

    During high school, Wincott competed in swimming, wrestling, boxing, football, rugby, and vatten polo. He also trained in the martial arts of monark Fu, Karate, and earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Wincott won an athletic scholarship to college, but chose to pursue his interest in acting instead, and attended Ryerson University as a Theater major. Later, he moved to New York to study with Stella Adler, Michael Kahn, and Eli Rill.
