Radhika Pandit was born on March 7, 1984, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, to a Goan mother and Krishna Pandit, a well-known theater and screen actor from the Saraswat community. Radhika was raised in Bangalore's Malleswaram neighborhood, mostly in the home of her paternal grandpa, which she still calls home now for nostalgic reasons.
After completing her education at Bangalore's Cluny Convent High School, she attended Mount Carmel College to earn a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree. Her initial career goal, after completing a Master of Business Administration course, was to become a teacher. However, a friend urged her to try out for a part in a Kannada-language television series titled "Nandagokula," which was produced and directed by Ashok Kashyap in 2007, when she was in her final year of B.Com.
