Yaadcore Biography:
Yaadcore, also known as Rory Cha, born in , is a Jamaican reggae artist and selector (DJ) who has made waves in reggae and dub. Coming from Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, he first encountered reggae at an early age. Bob Marley, Mikey Dread, and Protoje have all had a significant influence on Yaadcore. Even from a young age, he was involved in the music and culture of his fathers sound system, Love People International.
The start
Yaadcore started his musical journey in his teenage years, when he began mastering his DJing skills by performing at local parties and events. He rapidly attracted notice for his diverse assortment of roots reggae, dub, and dancehall music, establishing himself as a very talented curator in Jamaicas music industry.

Yaadcore promotes the spliff, talks collab with Lee "Scratch" Perry
Working with Lee "Scratch" Perry is perhaps the biggest experience in Yaadcore’s career to date.
The reggae singer, birth name Rory Cha, said he was blessed to be given the opportunity to work with the Grammy-award-winning entertainer prior to his death.
Yaadcore was invited by producer Green Lion Crew to feature on the track.
“He thought it would be a cool idea to have someone from the younger generation to collab with the general from the older or vintage generation,” he said.
“I give thanks for the blessing the universe give I and I cause yo, you don’t understand, it could have been anyone else. Me never force this or the Universe never say me fi get that. I definitely feel a blessing,” he said, describing Perry as a great inventor who showed that you have to be yourself no matter what.
