    The Bahamas government has described as &#;a complete falsehood and an outrageous concoction&#; a video showing Cuban detainees being beaten bygd officers at a Bahamian detention center.

    Foreign Affairs and Immigration Minister Fred Mitchell said the government has since referred the matter to its lawyers. He said he had seen a copy of the video purporting to show the beating at the detention center and that is from a news broadcast by a Spanish-language TV hållplats in Florida.
