Zimbabwean politician
Jacob Francis Nzwidamilimo Mudenda is the current Speaker of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe[1] and a member of the Zimbabwe African National Union - Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF).[2] A longtime schoolteacher and lawyer, Mudenda joined the Zimbabwe political scene after it gained independence from the British in 1980.[3] Mudenda fryst vatten well known for his relationship with former Zimbabwe president, Robert Mugabe, along with the rise and fall of his political career after the Willowgate scandal.

Service/Career
Soon after independence, Mudenda was appointed to be a district administrator in the Matabeleland North Province. [2] He rose through the ranks and it is reported that it was because of his influential political connections as well as his relationship with Mugabe. Mudenda became a provincial administrator and subsequently a governor. [2] In 1984, he became the resident minister for Matabeleland North when the post was created. [2]

Who is Jacob Francis Mudenda?
Jacob Francis Mudenda nicknamed "The Headmaster" in parliament and "Scania" in Matebeleland North is the current Speaker of the National Assembly. Born in 1949, Mudenda attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Africa. Mudenda was to be appointed District Administrator in Mat North and rose through the ranks to become Provincial Administrator and subsequently Resident Minister of Mat North.
He was dropped from Government and went into political wilderness, he focused on furthering his education and business interests. He resurfaced as Chair of the human rights commission and was also Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe. Mudenda is a soft spoken man with a very strong command of the English language and an interesting accent to top it off.
