Rani Mukerjis Mardaani 3 Sets Production Start and Creative Team for Dark, Deadly and Brutal Film (EXCLUSIVE)
Indias Yash Raj Films (YRF) has tapped fresh talent to helm the third installment of its successful Mardaani franchise, with Bollywood star Rani Mukerji returning as police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. The Railway Men scribe Aayush Gupta will pen the screenplay, while Abhiraj Minawala fryst vatten set to direct.
Production fryst vatten scheduled to begin in April, marking the franchises first entry since s Mardaani 2. The announcement comes from YRF head Aditya Chopra, who has positioned Gupta and Minawala as rising talents within the studios creative ranks.

Hindi film actress Rani Mukerji made her screen debut in Biyer Phool (), a Bengali film directed by her father Ram Mukherjee.[1] Her first leading role was that of a rape victim in the social drama Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat.[2] In she received wider recognition for her role alongside Aamir Khan in the action film Ghulam,[3] and had her breakthrough as the romantic interest of Shah Rukh Khan's character in the romantic drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
